Fevers and Mirrors é o terceiro álbum da banda estadounidense de indie rock Bright Eyes, publicado o 29 de maio de 2000. Foi o 32º lanzamento do selo de Omaha, Nebraska Saddle Creek Records. Posteriormente foi publicado no Reino Unido como primeiro lanzamento do selo Wichita Recordings.^[1]

O álbum comeza coa gravación dun rapaz lendo Mitchell Is Moving, un libro de Marjorie Weinman Sharmat. "An Attempt to Tip the Scales" inclúe o que aparentemente é unha entrevista co líder da banda, Conor Oberst. Porén, Oberst admitiu que a entrevista foi un tipo de broma coa intención de burlarse do ton escuro do álbum. A voz de Conor é representada na entrevista por Todd Fink de The Faint e Commander Venus. O entrevistado é Matt Silcock, antigo membro de Lullaby for the Working Class.^[2]

Fevers and Mirrors incluíuse no Vinyl Box Set de Bright Eyes editado en 2003.

Recepción da crítica

A revista musical en liña Pitchfork situou a Fevers and Mirrors no número 170 da súa lista dos 200 mellores álbums dos anos 2000,^[3] a pesar dunha puntuación inicial baixa de 5,4/10. En 2012, Ian Cohen de Pitchfork deulle á reedición do álbum unha puntuación de 9 sobre 10.^[4]
