An Awesome Wave
An Awesome Wave é o álbum de estrea da banda inglesa de indie rock Alt-J (∆), publicado o 25 de maio do 2012 a través do selo Infectious Music. O disco inclúe os sinxelos "Matilda"/"Fitzpleasure", "Breezeblocks" e "Tessellate". Acadou o número 13 da lista británica de álbums, e tamén entrou nas listas de Bélxica, Francia, Países Baixos e Suíza. An Awesome Wave gañou o premio British Barclaycard Mercury Prize no ano 2012. No ano 2013 foi Álbum do ano nos Ivor Novello Awards.[1] O título é unha referencia a unha cita da novela de 1991 de Bret Easton Ellis American Psycho e da película de 2000 do mesmo nome.[2]
